Spring is definitely in the air and with the evenings getting brighter, some of our teams have returned to training, with many more to return in the coming weeks. All players are required to register before they return to training. Log onto Foireann.ie and complete your 2023 registration to ensure coaches have your up to date communication information before training takes place. We look forward to welcoming all our old members back and hopefully, lots of new members will be joining us this year.

Lotto:

The Club Lotto is the Clubs main way of fundraising.

There are several different payment methods to play the Lotto – pay annually with club membership (discounted), standing order, weekly in local shops, pubs etc.

Thank you to Barry's Shop, Craughan's Butchers, Kileely, The Tailrace Bar, Browne’s Pub, Larkins Pub & McMahons Bar for providing a place to sell our Lotto, it is much appreciated. #shoplocal

The easiest payment option is to pay online where you will find the option of paying for up to 50 draws in advance.

Schools Coaching Update:

On Wednesday February 22nd John Madden, Sinead Nolan, Catherine Byrnes and Barry Rodgers visited both Parteen and Meelick schools. The aim of the visit was to promote the newly formed club and to encourage the pupils to give hurling and camogie a go for the month of March. 4 sessions are planned to give players an introduction to hurling and camogie. This is to build on the excellent coaching being provided by Jim Corbett from the county games development group. It is planned that these coaching sessions will continue for the remainder of the school year.

Special thanks to Miriam Smyth (Principal) and Leah O’Keeffe from Parteen national school and Maria O’ Looney (Principal) and Denis O’ Donnell from Meelick national school for their support, co-operation and their warm reception
